Since 2019, the Hriti Foundation has been conducting policy discussions, policy studies, research, and advocacy focused on Karnali province.
The Karnali province government is preparing to formulate policies, programs, and budget for the fiscal year 2081/82. Based on Hriti Foundation’s Annual Policy Festival, ‘Karnali Utsav ..Kuda Karnalika’ as well as various studies, research, and dialogues conducted by Hriti Foundation throughout the year, we recently presented the policy suggestions to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnali Province Government, Yamlal Kandel.
In addition, we have sent suggestions to the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, and all the ministries. The suggestions mainly focus on strengthening federalism, budget implementation effectiveness, entrepreneurship promotion, easy business environment, openness of parliamentary practice, and various economic and social issues.
Every year, the Hriti Foundation provides evidence-based suggestions to the Karnali province government and local governments regarding the sound public policy.
