The Hriti Foundation, with the support of Purak Asia, has conducted a research study titled “The State and Management of Public Transport in Birendranagar’ to assess the status, challenges, and opportunities of the city’s public transport system.
This study analyzes the existing condition, challenges, prospects, and necessary policy and practical aspects for managing the public transport system of Birendranagar Valley. As the capital of Karnali Province and a rapidly urbanizing city, the study emphasizes the need for and importance of a well-organized public transport system in Birendranagar.
