The 6th edition of Karnali Utsav – Kuda Karnalika was successfully held on February 17, 18, and 19 at the courtyard of City Hall in Birendranagar, Surkhet, the capital of Karnali Province. Organized by the Hriti Foundation, the festival was conducted in collaboration with individuals, the private sector, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations.

The festival included 13 panel discussions, 4 keynote speeches, 4 Paikelo stories (showcasing youth contributions to Karnali’s recognition), and 3 literary and cultural sessions. Discussions covered social, political, and economic issues in Karnali Province, as well as broader national topics.

The event saw an estimated 8,000 attendees in person, with 3.7 million viewers engaging virtually, highlighting its growing impact as a national policy dialogue platform.

Karnali Utsav continues to promote meaningful conversations and policy discussions. The 7th edition is scheduled to take place in Birendranagar from February 17 to 19, 2026.
