• The economic growth of Karnali is expected to be 1.9 percent in the ongoing fiscal 2022-23. Publishing the province-level accounting report, the National Statistics Office has projected the contribution of Karnali Province to the total GDP is estimated at 4 percent (Rs 221 billion). According to the data the per capita income of Karnali is estimated $997 in the current fiscal year which is the lowest among other provinces. Read More
• Karnali province government has spent 31 percent of the budget in 10 months. According to the Province Controller of Accounts Office, 31.22 percent of the budget has been spent up to the second week of May of the current fiscal year 2022/23. Compared to last year, it has been found that the amount of herbs exported from the district has decreased by more than 300 percent.
