October 28, 2024 – Hriti Foundation, in collaboration with Students for Liberty, successfully organized Samvad on the Evolution of Entrepreneurship in Birendranagar, Surkhet. This insightful dialogue brought together young participants to explore the historical progression and modern significance of entrepreneurship in Nepal.
The event was coordinated by Rajesh Kandel, the local coordinator for Students for Liberty. Discussions centered on the article “Entrepreneurship: Then and Now” by Subekshya BC, examining how Nepal’s entrepreneurial landscape has evolved across different historical phases—from traditional trades to contemporary startup culture. The dialogue also delved into factors influencing entrepreneurship today, including government policies, economic liberalization, and cultural attitudes.
Participants engaged in lively discussions about challenges facing entrepreneurs, such as regulatory constraints and access to capital, while sharing innovative solutions to stimulate entrepreneurship at the community level. The event emphasized the importance of youth involvement in shaping an entrepreneurial future for Nepal.
Hriti Foundation is committed to fostering educational initiatives and dialogues that empower Nepali youth to participate in economic development actively.
